Essential session storage
PickPackPic uses an ASP.NET session cookie to associate forms with your browser and protect against cross-site request forgery. It also uses a signed, encrypted authentication cookie when you log in. The login ticket expires after approximately eight hours, and sign-out removes the current device's authentication cookie.
What is not enabled by default
The delivered website does not embed advertising pixels, third-party analytics trackers or social-media tracking widgets. It does not cache personal dashboard pages for offline access. It does not use a cookie banner to imply that optional tracking has been accepted.
Payments and external websites
A payment checkout or an external partner website may use its own cookies under its own policy. Those services are separate from this website. Review their notices before entering information.
Browser choices
You may remove cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies can prevent login and form submission. The operator must update this notice and implement any required consent controls before adding optional analytics, advertising or other tracking technologies.
Website analytics and your choice
With your permission, we measure public pages viewed, approximate visit sessions, the referring website domain, browser type, device category and browser language. We do not store IP addresses, account identifiers or URL query strings in these analytics tables. A visit is an activity session, not proof of a unique individual. Known bots, administrator sessions, private pages and demo detail pages are excluded. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honored.
Optional analytics are disabled until accepted by default. You may change your choice below. A preference cookie is kept for six months. Analytics records are retained for 90 days and removed by the scheduled maintenance process. Essential session cookies are still used for security, accounts and forms. Web-server/security logs maintained by the hosting provider are separate and may contain technical request data.
Messages, support and notifications
Registration, verification, booking and moderation messages may be sent through our configured email provider. The platform owner receives registration and booking notifications needed to operate the service. Email acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.
Traveler–host conversations are visible to their participants. Authorized administrators may review a conversation for a legitimate support, safety or moderation reason. The reason and access are audited. Support requests and administrator replies are kept in the support inbox. Never put payment-card details, passwords or identity documents in a conversation.
Contact the platform operator for questions, a privacy request or account deletion. Retention and disclosure obligations must be reviewed for the operator’s jurisdiction before launch.
